Small car update!

A brief update on the car situation. I began doing minor things to get it road worthy several months ago and upon doing so came across a couple of odd observations.

One was the exhaust.




which wasn't much of a mystery other then " How in the world ?! "



The other was hair I found under the car.




I at first just thought it was the remains if some animal that had been ran over at some point in the cars life. Yuck!

Few weeks ago I was climbing around under the car with a mirror trying to get a good idea on the shape of the transmission. Apparently you can tell the type of transmission by the shape of the transmission cover.

Once again noticed the hair but actually paid attention to it and pulled a strand off and handed it to my friend who was out in the garage with me.

I didn't utter a word. just handed it to him. He grabs it and stretches it out. Close to a foot in length.

" That's hair man! " he says and drops it.

So...if it was something animal that had been ran over it had to have been HUGE!

Horses, cows..etc have hair that long. Could easily have been parked somewhere where that type of hair had blown under the car and stayed. Someone brushing a horses mane for example, catches wind and finds it's way underneath the car.

Perhaps.

However, one of the pics actually had what appears to be skin attached. Didn't want to get too graphic here.
